Markit announces expected removals from LCDX North American index

Tacoma, Wash., March 18 - Markit Group Ltd. expects to remove Dresser, Inc., Hanesbrands Inc. and HealthSouth Corp. from the LCDX North American index when it next rolls, according to an announcement from the company.

These changes remain provisional until the finalized annex for the index is published on April 1.

Additionally, Hexion Specialty Chemicals, Inc. underwent a corporate change to become Momentive Specialty Chemicals Inc. The company is an affiliate of Momentive Performance Materials Inc., and both are constituents of the current index. Markit said it is investigating and that one of the two will be removed from the index when it rolls.

The company expects to publish the provisional list of additions on Tuesday and the coupons and the draft annex on March 30. The index will roll into its 16th series on April 4.
