Markit LCDX cuts American Airlines, adds eight for series 13 roll

New York, Sept. 23 - Markit Group Ltd. announced the addition of eight companies to the Markit LCDX North America index, which will roll into series 13 on Oct. 5.

In addition, following a round of voting, American Airlines, Inc. has been removed from series 13 of the index after the company announced an offering of notes that will be used to refinance its term loan facility.

The additions to the index include ServiceMaster Co., Allison Transmission, Inc., Burlington Coat Factory Warehouse Corp., Claire's Stores, Inc., Hawker Beechcraft Acquisition Co., LLC, Dresser-Rand Group Inc., Clear Channel Communications, Inc. and Wynn Las Vegas, LLC.

On Friday, the company announced the following removals: Cricket Communications, Inc., General Motors Corp., Georgia Gulf Corp., Visteon Corp., R.H. Donnelley Inc., Six Flags Theme Parks Inc., Lear Corp. and Blockbuster Inc.

As already reported, the coupon will be published after 5 p.m. ET on Sept. 30.
