Marcus files $150 million shelf covering debt, preferreds and stock

Knoxville, Tenn., Oct. 18 - Marcus Corp. filed a $150 million shelf registration in an S-3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The registration covers debt securities, common stock, preferred stock, warrants, stock purchase contracts and stock purchase units, along with 5 million common shares to be offered by selling stockholders.

The securities may be structured as convertibles.

Proceeds will be used general corporate purposes.

The Milwaukee, Wis., company owns movie theaters and hotels.
