Marcal Paper management changes approved

Pittsburgh, May 29 - Marcal Paper Mills, Inc. obtained court approval to hire Robert Lynch as senior vice president and chief financial officer and Lee Bingham as president and chief operating officer, according to a Tuesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey.

The changes are effective retroactive to May 1.

Senior vice president and chief financial officer Robert Jackson resigned effective May 15. Lynch was serving as president and chief operating officer.

When Lynch takes over for Jackson, Bingham will fill the president and chief operating officer position.

Marcal Paper Mills, an Elmwood Park, N.J., manufacturer and distributor of bath tissue, kitchen towels, napkins and facial tissue, filed for bankruptcy on Nov. 30, 2006. Its Chapter 11 case number is 06-21886.
