Majestic Star Casino reports $549,301 operating loss for May

Pittsburgh, July 1 - The Majestic Star Casinos, LLC reported a $549,301 operating loss for May on $8.99 million in net revenues, according to its monthly operating report filed Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The net loss for the month was $2.71 million.

The company had $9.19 million in cash and cash equivalents at May 31.

Majestic Star, a Las Vegas-based owner and operator of casino hotels, filed for bankruptcy on Nov. 23, 2009. Its Chapter 11 case number is 09-14136.
