Mahalo Energy (USA)'s unsecured creditors committee appointed

Pittsburgh, June 5 - Mahalo Energy (USA), Inc.'s official committee of unsecured creditors was appointed Friday by U.S. Trustee Richard A. Wieland, according to a filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma.

The committee is comprised of Timothy J. Stanley of Rose Resources Oil & Gas, Inc. of Tulsa, Okla.; Kurt Rupert of Mustang Fuel Corp. of Oklahoma City; Ryan Ganske of West Rock Energy Consultants Ltd. of Calgary, Alta.; Joshua D. Wells of Scientific Drilling International, Inc. of Oklahoma City; Christopher J. Ryan of Baker Hughes Oilfield Operations, Inc., based in Houston; and Matt Place/Jeff Cooper of River Valley Oilfield Enterprises of Poteau, Okla.

Mahalo Energy (USA) is a Tulsa, Okla.-based subsidiary of Calgary, Alta.-based junior, unconventional natural gas producer Mahalo Energy Ltd. The subsidiary filed for bankruptcy on May 21, and its Chapter 11 case number is 09-80795.
