S&P rates Anhui Conch A-

Standard & Poor's said it assigned an A- long-term corporate credit rating to Anhui Conch Cement Co. Ltd.

The agency also said it assigned a cnAA long-term Greater China regional scale rating to the company.

The outlook is stable.

The ratings reflect the company's large production scale and strong market position in the fragmented Chinese cement market, S&P said.

The company is expected to maintain higher profitability than its peers, the agency added, and will have solid cash flow from operations.

The highly cyclical nature of the building materials industry, Conch's limited product diversification, geographical concentration in China and high capital expenditures temper these strengths, S&P said.
