Atlanta, Jan. 12 - Madalena Ventures Inc. raised C$1,551,000 in a private placement of stock.

The company sold a total of 31,020,000 shares at C$0.05. Of that amount, 7.32 million of the shares sold in the offering are flow-through shares.

Madalena is a Vancouver, B.C.-based mineral exploration and development company.
