S&P: Platform Specialty, MacDermid view to stable

S&P said it affirmed all of its ratings, including the BB- corporate credit rating, on Platform Specialty Products Corp. and its wholly owned subsidiary, MacDermid Inc.

The outlook was revised to stable from negative.

"The rating affirmation and outlook revision reflect our view that integration risks related to the acquisitions the company has undertaken are lower now than they were a year ago," S&P credit analyst Paul Kurias said in a news release.
