Lyondell creditors committee gains two new members

Pittsburgh, March 16 - Lyondell Chemical Co.'s official committee of unsecured creditors was reappointed by U.S. trustee Diana G. Adams to add two new members, according to a Monday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

Specifically, James Schorr of Naples, Fla., and Bernard Sander of Houston have been added to the committee.

The rest of the committee is comprised of Patrick Healy of Wilmington Trust FSB, Wilmington, Del.; Robert L. Bice II of Law Debenture Trust of New York; Jennifer Messina of Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp., Washington, D.C.; Peter Argiriou of BASF Corp., Florham Park, N.J.; Kevin Feeney of Air Liquide Industries U.S. LP, Houston; Tim Wood of Veolia ES Industrial Services, League City, Texas; and David R. Jury of United Steel Workers, Pittsburgh.

Lyondell is a U.S. subsidiary of LyondellBasell, a Netherlands-based polymer, petrochemicals and fuels company. LyondellBasell's U.S. operations and one of its European holding companies filed for bankruptcy on Jan. 6. The Chapter 11 case number is 09-10023.
