Fitch assigns AngloGold Ashanti BBB-

Fitch Ratings said it assigned a first-time rating of BBB- on AngloGold Ashanti Ltd.

“The business profile of AGA is in line with a low BBB rating category, supported by its leading position as a gold producer and global geographic diversification,” Fitch said in a press release.

The outlook is stable.
