AngloGold to price dollar-denominated benchmark 10-year notes

New York, Sept. 22 – South Africa’s AngloGold Ashanti Ltd. has selected banks and scheduled a series of fixed-income investor calls regarding a U.S. dollar-denominated offering of notes with a 10-year maturity, according to a market source on Tuesday.

Barclays, BMO Capital Markets, BNP Paribas, BofA Securities, CIBC Capital Markets, Citigroup, Deutsche Bank, JPMorgan, RBC Capital Markets, Scotiabank and Standard Chartered Bank have been mandated to arrange the calls, commencing on Wednesday.

A benchmark-sized Securities and Exchange Commission-registered offering will follow, subject to market conditions.

AngloGold Ashanti is a Johannesburg-based gold producer.
