Louisiana Public Facilities defeases Baton Rouge Medical Center bonds

Kansas City Kan., Dec. 11 - Louisiana Public Facilities Authority has defeased its series 2004 FHA-insured Baton Rouge General Medical Center project mortgage revenue bonds, according to a notice.
The authority said it would redeem all 2004 bonds maturing through and including July 1, 2014 at maturity. The 2004 bonds maturing on or after Jan. 1, 2015 will be redeemed on July 1, 2014.
The bonds will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date.
The authority originally issued the bonds in the amount of $205.71 million.
Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co., NA is the escrow trustee.
