Louisiana defeases $121.91 million of general obligation bonds

Norfolk, Va., June 29 – The State of Louisiana defeased $121.91 million from various series of its general obligation bonds, according to a notice.

The following will be redeemed on July 15:

• $8,675,000 of 5% series 2006-B bonds; and

• $9,155,000 of 5% series 2013-C bonds.

Whitney Bank is the paying agent.

The following will be redeemed on Aug. 1:

• $101,575,000 of 5% series 2005-A bonds;

• $695,000 of 3.7% series 2005-A bonds; and

• $1.81 million of 5% series 2012-A bonds.

The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co., NA is the paying agent.
