Fitch assigns F1+ to Los Angeles County, Calif., tax notes

Fitch Ratings said it assigned an F1+ rating to Los Angeles County, Calif.'s $500 million 2008-2009 tax and revenue anticipation notes, series A.

The notes will be sold through negotiation around June 4. The notes are dated July 1, 2008 and mature June 30, 2009.

Also, Fitch affirmed its A rating on various issues secured by county lease rental payments and an A- rating on other lease-secured issues. The outlook for all of the county's long-term obligations is stable.
