Los Angeles Community College defeases $359.29 million of G.O. bonds

Columbus, Ohio, June 25 – Los Angeles Community College District, California defeased $359.29 million of 2001 election general obligation bonds, series 2005A, according to a notice.

The following 5% bonds dated March 22, 2005 will be redeemed on Aug. 1 at par:

• $19.69 million of bonds due 2016;

• $21.8 million of bonds due 2017;

• $24.06 million of bonds due 2018;

• $26,465,000 of bonds due 2019;

• $29,025,000 of bonds due 2020;

• $31.75 million of bonds due 2021;

• $34.65 million of bonds due 2022;

• $37.73 million of bonds due 2023;

• $41,015,000 of bonds due 2024;

• $44.5 million of bonds due 2025; and

• $48,605,000 of bonds due 2026.
