Los Angeles defeases $75.52 million of series 2009A wastewater bonds

Columbus, Ohio, June 30 – The City of Los Angeles, defeased $75,515,000 of its wastewater system revenue refunding bonds, series 2009A, according to a notice.

The following bonds will be redeemed June 1, 2019 at par plus accrued interest:

• $3,455,000 of 5.25% bonds due 2021;

• $457,000 of 4.5% bonds due 2023;

• $525,000 of 4.75% bonds due 2023;

• $3.27 million of 5.2.5% bonds due 2023;

• $3.7 million of 5.25% bonds due 2024;

• $4.64 million of 5.75% bonds due 2024;

• $245,000 of 5.25% bonds due 2025;

• $165,000 of 5% bonds due 2026;

• $5,435,000 of 5.75% bonds due 2026;

• $1.55 million of 5.25% bonds due 2027;

• $4,315,000 of 5.75% bonds due 2027;

• $110,000 of 5.375% bonds due 2028;

• $6,145,000 of 5.75% bonds due 2028;

• $775,000 of 5.375% bonds due 2029; and

• $38.99 million of 5.75% bonds due 2034.

All of the bonds have a June 1 due date of their respective years.
