S&P rates LAX bonds AA, AA-

Standard & Poor's said it assigned an AA rating to the $617.9 million series 2008A senior revenue bonds and $8.3 million series 2008B senior refunding revenue bonds issued by the city of Los Angeles for the Los Angeles International Airport. S&P also assigned an AA- rating to the airport's $249.5 million series 2008C subordinate revenue bonds and affirmed its AA underlying rating on the airport's outstanding senior-lien bonds.

The outlook is stable.

Proceeds of the 2008 bonds will contribute to the airport's capital improvement plan.
