Loral equity committee named

Houston, March 29 - Loral Space & Communications Ltd.'s committee of equity security holders was appointed Tuesday by the U.S. Trustee for the case, according to a filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

The members are JDS Capital LP of New York, Aspen Advisors LLC of New York, York Capital Management of New York, Jeffery Swarts of Danville, Ohio, Tony Christ of Fall Church, Va., David Kilcoyne of Holland, Pa. and Vadim Mostovoy of New York.

Loral filed for bankruptcy on July 15, 2003. Its Chapter 11 case number is 03-41710.
