Moody's assigns A3 to LSEG US notes

Moody's Ratings (Moody's) said it assigned an A3 local-currency backed senior unsecured rating to LSEG US Fin Corp.'s planned sale of $1.25 billion of unsecured 144A notes guaranteed by London Stock Exchange Group plc. LSEG UFC's issuance will be composed of $500 million in 2027 notes and $750 million in 2034 notes.

The issuer is a wholly owned unit of LSEG, which Moody’s rates A3. The parent will guarantee the notes.

Moody's expects net proceeds of the issuance to be used for refinancing existing debt and for general corporate purposes.
