Loan Syndications and Trading Association elects board chair, officers

Kansas City, Kan., Jan. 23 - The Loan Syndications and Trading Association announced the election of five officers to its board of directors.

Jonathan Kitei, of Barclays, will serve as chairman; Greg Stoeckle, of Invesco, and Dave Frey, of Highbridge, will be vice chairmen; Kevin Burke, of GE Capital, will be the treasurer; and Andrew Gordon, of Octagon, will be secretary.

"We are extremely pleased to have such experienced and dedicated loan market professionals serving in our leadership positions," said Bram Smith, executive director of LSTA. "The loan market continues to face a number of issues, especially on the regulatory front, and we'll benefit greatly from their experience and leadership as we work through the year."

The new members join 14 existing board members.

The Loan Syndications and Trading Association is focused on promoting a transparent corporate loan marketplace.
