Lithuania plans to auction additional 1½% government bonds due 2017

Madison, Wis., Aug. 7 – Lithuania is planning an add-on offering of 1½% government securities due Feb. 27, 2017. The auction will be held on Aug. 18, according to a news release.

The current size of the bond issue is 365 million litas. The original bonds were issued in February.

Auction participants can submit competitive and non-competitive bids in the order books of the VSE New Issue Yield market and VSE New Issue Yield non-market, respectively. The maximum amount of non-competitive bids that may be submitted by an investor is 2 million litas.

The amount of additional bonds and the cut-off yield will be set during the auction.

Settlement for the additional bonds is slated for Aug. 21.
