Moody's: Baltic banks to stable

Moody's Investors Service said it changed outlook for the banking systems in the three Baltic countries, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, to stable from negative.

The outlook's key drivers are: (a) The improving macroeconomic environment; (b) falling problem loan levels; (c) recovering profitability as loan demand slowly picks up; (d) the positive impact on capitalization of the improved asset quality and profitability; and (e) low reliance on market funding.
