S&P ups Lithuania

S&P said it upgraded its rating for Lithuania to A+ from A. The outlook is stable.

“The upgrade is based on Lithuania's strong track record of balanced economic growth and fiscal discipline. Since 2011, the economy has expanded by a solid annual average of 3.7% in real terms. Per capita income levels have almost doubled over this period, causing incomes to converge more closely with those in the wealthier parts of the E.U.,” said S&P in a press release.
