S&P affirms Antam

Standard & Poor's said it affirmed its B rating on PT Antam Tbk. The outlook is stable.

S&P said the rating affirmation reflects the favorable outlook for nickel and gold prices and Antam's vertically integrated operations.

Nevertheless, these strengths are offset by volatility in nickel and gold prices, regulatory uncertainty, Antam's large capital expenditure plans and its rising cost profile, the agency added.
