Gabelli, Gamco sell shares in LIN TV, reduce ownership to 21.46%

Charlotte, N.C., Oct. 1 - LIN TV Corp. shareholders led by Gabelli Funds, LLC and Gamco Asset Management Inc. dropped their interest in the company to 21.46% with the sale of 278,600 shares between Sept. 10 and Sept. 30.

The shares were priced from $3.20 to $5.57 each, according to a schedule 13D/A filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Thursday.

Between Aug. 24 and Sept. 9, Gamco sold 292,600 shares for a 22.47% ownership interest, a prior SEC filing said.

The reporting persons beneficially own 5,982,164 shares of the Providence, R.I., television station company's outstanding stock.
