New York, Nov. 17 - The Lincoln West Haymarket Joint Public Agency of Nebraska sold $100 million of series 2010 general obligation bonds in two tranches, according to pricing sheets.
The deal included $67.965 million of series 2010B Build America Bonds and $32.035 million of series 2010C recovery zone economic development bonds.
The bonds (Aa1/AAA/) were sold competitively. Robert Baird & Co. won the 2010B bonds with a 3.728503% true interest cost, and Wells Fargo Bank, NA won the 2010C bonds with a 3.792885% TIC.
The 2010B bonds are due 2020 to 2025 with term bonds due 2030, 2035 and 2039. Coupons range from 4% to 5%, all priced at par. The 2030 bonds have a 5.4% coupon priced at par, and the 2035 bonds have a 5.8% coupon, also priced at par. The 2039 bonds have a 6% coupon priced at par.
The 2010C bonds are due Dec. 15, 2045 and have a 6.75% coupon priced at par.
Proceeds from the sale will be used to supplement bonds sold in August 2010 to begin site improvements and construction on a 16,000-seat multipurpose arena in the West Haymarket district of Lincoln, Neb.
