New LifeCare official unsecured creditors committee appointed

Olympia, Wash., May 17 – The U.S. Trustee overseeing the Chapter 11 case for Hospital Acquisition, which operates numerous New LifeCare and LifeCare medical facilities, has appointed an official committee of unsecured creditors, according to a notice filed Friday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
The committee members are Hector Perez of Cantu Construction and Development, Inc. of McAllen, Tex.; Jeffrey Theiler of Physicians Realty LP of Milwaukee; Joseph Feller of Kettering Health Network (Sycamore Hospital) of Miamisburg, Ohio; Courtney Hall of New Source Medical, LLC of Louisville, Ky.; and Eric Wenzel of Freedom Medical, Inc. of Exton, Pa.
LifeCare, a Plano, Tex.-based health care consulting and management services company, filed for bankruptcy on May 6. The Chapter 11 case number is 19-10998.
