LG. Philips Displays USA unsecured creditors committee appointed

Pittsburgh, March 29 - LG. Philips Displays USA, Inc.'s U.S. Trustee appointed the official committee of unsecured creditors for the company's Chapter 11 case, according to a Wednesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The committee includes Young Jin Kim of LG International Corp., Seoul, Republic of Korea; Pete Chepul of AGA Displays, Inc., Charlotte, N.C.; James R. Cash of Delafoil Ohio, Inc., Perrysburg, Ohio; Robert Visser of ACBC USA Corp., West Conshohocken, Pa.; and Kaoru Kondo of DNP Electronics America, LLC, Chula Vista, Calif.

LG. Philips Displays USA, a San Diego-based producer of TV and computer monitor tubes, filed for bankruptcy on March 15. Its Chapter 11 case number is 06-10245.
