Moody’s gives Baa2 to LG notes

Moody’s Ratings said it gave a Baa2 rating to LG Electronics Inc.’s planned senior unsecured notes.

The agency said it also conducted a review of LGE's Baa2 issuer rating and the (P)Baa2 senior unsecured rating on LG Electronics’ medium-term note program through a rating committee. These ratings are unchanged.

LG Electronics will use the proceeds for general operations and the sustainability bond tranche for the financing or refinancing of eligible projects following LGE's sustainable finance framework.

The outlook is stable.
