Andean American concludes C$15.07 million private placement of stock

Investor Urion Mining International purchases shares at C$0.77 apiece

Knoxville, Tenn., Feb. 1 - Andean American Gold Corp. said it settled a private placement of stock. The offering raised C$15.07 million.

The company sold 19,574,605 common shares at C$0.77 apiece to Urion Mining International BV. The price per share is an 18.95% discount to the Jan. 31 closing share price of C$0.95.

Based in Vancouver, B.C., Andean is a gold exploration, mining and development company.
