Levitz gets cash tender consents from holders of $98.8 million 12½% class A notes

Pittsburgh, Jan. 31 - PLVTZ LLC, doing business as Levitz Furniture, said holders of $98.8 million or 98.8% of its 12½% senior secured class A notes due 2011 tendered their notes under a cash tender offer and solicitation that expired at 11:59 p.m. ET on Monday.

Under the solicitation, assignments of note-related claims were obtained from holders of $59.3 million or 59.3% of the outstanding notes.

Financial Balloting Group LLC (646 282-1800) is the information agent for the tender offer and consent solicitation.

Levitz Home Furnishings, Inc., a Woodbury, N.Y., furniture retailer, filed for bankruptcy Oct. 11 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. Its Chapter 11 case number is 05-45189.
