Leuthold's Stephen Leuthold leaves position as CIO, portfolio manager

Minneapolis, Nov. 1 - Leuthold Funds, Inc. announced that Stephen Leuthold left his position as portfolio manager to the funds and as chief investment officer of the company's investment adviser, Leuthold Weeden Capital Management.

Leuthold remains active in Leuthold Weeden Capital Management, managing some private accounts, serving in an advisory role to the firm's mutual funds, and publishing investment research. He will also continue to serve on the board of directors for the Leuthold Funds and will continue to maintain his ownership in the funds' adviser.

Leuthold Weeden Capital Management is a Minneapolis-based investment management firm.
