Clinton Group buys more shares of Lenox for 13.8% stake

Charlotte, N.C., Aug. 29 - Lenox Group Inc. investors led by Clinton Group, Inc. bought 149,714 shares of the company's stock between Aug. 17 and Aug. 24.

The shares were priced from $4.89 to $5.44 each, according to a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Clinton and the reporting persons own 1,932,927 shares, or 13.8%, of the Eden Prairie, Minn., gifts and collectibles distributor.

On Aug. 15, Clinton reported the purchase of 117,324 Lenox shares and a 12.7% stake in the company. In March, Clinton owned 10.9% of Lenox's outstanding stock, or 1,537,333 shares.
