Lenovo Group announces plans to issue dollar notes

San Luis Obispo, Calif., April 23 - Lenovo Group Ltd. said it plans to issue dollar-denominated notes in an offering to professional and institutional investors.

The size and pricing of the proposed issue will be determined following a book-building process conducted by Citigroup Global Markets Ltd., Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Ltd., Bank of China, Barclays Bank plc, BofA Merrill Lynch, BNP Paribas, Hong Kong Branch, Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Ltd., DBS Bank Ltd., Mitsubishi UFJ Securities International plc, Mizuho Securities Asia Ltd., Royal Bank of Scotland plc and Standard Chartered Bank as the joint lead managers and joint bookrunners. Citigroup is the global coordinator.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including working capital, and to fund any acquisition activities.

The company plans to apply to the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Ltd. to list the notes.

Lenovo is a Beijing-based multinational technology company.
