Lehman Brothers Holdings: Claims bought in several transactions

Wilmington, Del., Feb. 21 - Silver Point Capital Offshore Master Fund, LP bought three claims against Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. totaling $15.07 million, according to documents filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

The fund bought a $6.8 million claim, a $4.9 million claim and a $3.4 million claim from Goldman Sachs & Co.

In addition, according to separate filings with the court:

• Silver Point Capital Fund, LP, bought a $3.35 million claim, a $2.4 million claim and a $1.67 million claim from Goldman Sachs;

• Merrill Lynch International bought a $3.65 million claim from Fondo Pensioni per II personale Credito Fondario;

• UBS AG bought claims of $4.63 million from Ernst-August Schrader, $8.53 million from Skala Hausgestaltung GmbH and $71,005 from Henrik Schrader; and

• JPMorgan Fixed Income Opportunity Master Fund, LP, bought a $5.76 million claim from Lehman Brothers Holdings.

New York-based Lehman Brothers Holdings was the fourth-largest investment bank in the United States. The company filed for bankruptcy on Sept. 15, 2008. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-13555.
