UBS buys $12.16 million of Bancaja Fondos' claims against Lehman

Pittsburgh, Jan. 3 - UBS AG, Stamford Branch bought $12.16 million of Bancaja Fondos, SGIIC, SA's claims against Lehman Brothers Holdings, Inc., according to a Friday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

Specifically, UBS bought two $2.77 million claims, two $1.4 million claims and two $1.91 million claims.

New York-based Lehman Brothers Holdings was the fourth-largest investment bank in the United States. The company filed for bankruptcy on Sept. 15, 2008. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-13555.
