Deutsche Bank and Morgan Stanley Japan buy claims against Lehman

Pittsburgh, June 7 - Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch and Morgan Stanley Japan Securities Co., Ltd. bought claims against Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc., according to Monday filings with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

Specifically, Deutsche Bank bought a CHF 21.26 million claim from Credit Suisse AG, and Morgan Stanley bought a $1.07 million claim against the Okinawa Kaiho Bank, Ltd.

New York-based Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. was the fourth-largest investment bank in the United States. The company filed for bankruptcy on Sept. 15, 2008. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-13555.
