Barclays Bank sells $11.64 million of partial claims against Lehman

Pittsburgh, June 2 - Barclays Bank plc sold $11.64 million of its claims against Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc., according to Wednesday filings with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
Specifically, Barclays sold a $5.52 million portion of a $56.14 million claim to Aurelius Capital Master, Ltd., a $4.29 million portion of a $56.14 million claim to ACP Master, Ltd., and a $1.83 million portion of a $56.14 million claim to Aurelius Convergence Master Ltd.
New York-based Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. was the fourth-largest investment bank in the United States. The company filed for bankruptcy on Sept. 15, 2008. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-13555.
