Eton Park buys $100 million of Goldman Sachs' claims against Lehman

Pittsburgh, May 4 - Eton Park Fund, LP and Eton Park Master Fund, Ltd. bought $100 million of Goldman Sachs & Co.'s claims against Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc., according to Tuesday filings with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
Specifically, Eton bought a $10.5 million portion of a $150 million claim, a $24.5 million portion of a $200 million claim, a $19.5 million portion of a $150 million claim and a $45.5 million portion of a $200 million claim.
New York-based Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. was the fourth-largest investment bank in the United States. The company filed for bankruptcy on Sept. 15, 2008. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-13555.
