Botticelli buys two $85.8 million claims against Lehman Brothers

Savannah, Ga., Dec. 8 - Botticelli LLC bought a portion of two of RBS Securities Inc.'s claims against Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc., according to Tuesday filings with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

Botticelli bought $85.8 million of RBS' $2.09 billion claim against Lehman and $85.8 million of RBS' $100 million claim against Lehman.

New York-based Lehman Brothers Holdings was the fourth-largest investment bank in the United States. The company filed for bankruptcy on Sept. 15, 2008. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-13555.
