Lehman plans 0% U.S. dollar bullish notes linked to five currencies

Chicago, Aug. 20 - Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. plans to price two-year 0% U.S. dollar bullish notes linked to a currency basket, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The basket contains equal weights of the euro, the British pound, the Canadian dollar, the Swiss franc and the Japanese yen.

Payout at maturity will be par plus 225% to 245% of any gain in the U.S. dollar against the basket, with the exact participation rate to be set at pricing. Investors will receive at least par.

Lehman Brothers Inc. is the underwriter.

Pricing and settlement dates were not disclosed in the filing.
