Lehman debtor seeks approval of $6.2 million aircraft sale

Pittsburgh, Nov. 12 - Lehman Brothers Holdings, Inc. debtor CES Aviation IX LLC requested court approval of the $6.2 million sale of a Dassault model Falcon 50 aircraft to Peregrine Aviation Services, Inc., according to a Wednesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

Peregrine has also agreed to buy three Garrett engines, one installed Garrett auxiliary power unit, all appurtenances, appliances, parts, avionics, instruments, components, accessions, furnishings, items of equipment and accessories installed on the aircraft and loose equipment.

A hearing is scheduled for Dec. 3.

New York-based Lehman Brothers Holdings is the fourth-largest investment bank in the United States. The company filed for bankruptcy on Sept. 15. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-13555.
