Lehman Brothers to price partial principal protection notes linked to five indexes

Philadelphia, July 26 - Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. plans to price 90% principal protection notes due Aug. 2, 2010 linked to an index basket, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The basket includes the S&P 500 with a 50% weight, the Dow Jones Euro Stoxx 50 with a 17.710% weight, the FTSE 100 with a 16.985% weight, the Nikkei 225 with a 10.710% weight and the S&P/ASX 200 with a 4.595%.

At maturity, investors will receive par plus any positive return on the basket multiplied by a participation rate that will be determined at pricing and expected to be between 95% and 105%.

The notes are expected to price July 27 and settle Aug. 1.
