Lehman Brothers to price principal-protected notes with 1.63% coupon linked to Asian indexes

Philadelphia, June 6 - Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. plans to price 100% principal-protected notes due June 29, 2012 linked to an Asian index basket, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The basket includes the Nikkei 225 index with a 33.34% weight, the MSCI Singapore index with a 33.33% weight and the MSCI Taiwan index with a 33.33% weight.

At maturity, investors will receive par plus any positive return on the basket.

Investors will receive at least par, along with a coupon expected to be 1.63% per year. Interest will be payable quarterly.

The notes are expected to price June 25 and settle June 29.
