Lehman to price 0% principal-protected notes linked to metals basket

Philadelphia, April 27 - Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. plans to price an offering of 0% three-year principal-protected bonus notes linked to a base metals basket.

The basket consists of equal weights of grade A copper, primary nickel, special high-grade zinc and high-grade aluminum, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus any positive return on the basket with a minimum return set at 30% if the basket performance is positive. Investors will receive at least par.

Lehman Brothers Inc. will be the underwriter.
