Lehman to issue principal-protected notes inked to Israeli shekel

Philadelphia, April 13 - Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. plans to issue two-year principal-protected notes linked to the Israeli shekel, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

At maturity, investors will receive par plus any percentage gain on the currency multiplied by a leverage rate that will be determined at pricing and is expected to be 225%. Investors will receive at least par.

Lehman Brothers Inc. will be the underwriter.
