Lehman Brothers to price buffered enhanced participation notes linked to S&P 500

Washington, Feb. 22 - Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. plans to price an issue of 0% buffered principal-at-risk enhanced participation notes due Aug. 28, 2010 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 101.5% of any positive return on the index. Investors will lose 1% for each 1% that the index drops beyond 15%.

The notes are expected to price on Feb. 23 and settle on Feb. 28.

Lehman Brothers will be the underwriter.
