SPDR Lehman High Yield Bond ETF gains listing on Amex

By Angela McDaniels

Tacoma, Wash., Dec. 4 - The American Stock Exchange announced it has launched trading in the SPDR Lehman High Yield Bond exchange-traded fund by State Street Global Advisors.

According to an Amex news release, the ETF uses a passive management strategy designed to track the total return performance of the Lehman Brothers High Yield Very Liquid index, which measures the performance of publicly issued dollar-denominated high-yield corporate bonds with above-average liquidity.

The new ETF trades under the ticker symbol "JNK."

Kellogg Capital Group, LLC is the specialist for the SPDR Lehman High Yield Bond ETF, and Susquehanna Investment Group will trade options on the ETF.
