Lehman plans enhanced participation notes linked to nine commodities

New York, Oct. 2 - Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. plans to price zero-coupon principal-protected enhanced participation notes due Nov. 1, 2010 linked to a basket of nine commodities, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The basket consists of light sweet crude oil, weighted at 20%, and heating oil, copper, nickel, zinc, gold, platinum, corn and wheat, each weighted at 10%.

The payout at maturity will be par plus 115% of any basket gain. Investors will receive at least par.

The notes will price on Oct. 26 and settle on Nov. 1.

Lehman Brothers Inc. is the underwriter.
